What it does
- The study café: tap the cup on any page, take a seat and study next to other students with a focus timer. After 60 minutes at the same table you can become study buddies. Make a private café for friends with a room code, with voice if you want it.
- Write like paper on topic cards, notebooks and PDFs with Apple Pencil: pen, highlighter, tape to hide answers, lasso, shapes, text, voice notes.
- Circle to Copy and Clips: circle any part of a page and copy it, or keep it in Clips and search the words inside.
- Topic cards and canvas: every topic card keeps its own notebook; lay out cards, notebooks and sticky notes on one canvas.
Common questions
Where are my notes stored?
Only on your iPad. Make a backup from Library › More › Back up everything and keep it in Files or iCloud Drive.
How do I move my notes to a new iPad?
On the old iPad: Library › More › Back up everything. On the new iPad: Library › More › Restore from a backup.
How do I delete my café account?
Library › More › About & privacy › Delete my café account. Your notes on the iPad are not touched.
Someone in the café is rude. What do I do?
Tap them, then Block to hide them from you at once, and Report so we can act. We read reports within 24 hours.
Can other students see what I study?
No. They see your café name, your avatar, your streak and whether you are focusing or on a break. Your page is shown only when you choose Show my page, and only to the members of the private café you pick.
